Emulation Station — http: Currently if I have a keyboard and a USB controller like an XBox One controller plugged in they both try to act as player 1 and nothing gives input to player 2. So it seems that the one with spaces is the one I want, but it seems to rename it and create a new one each time…any ideas??
In the meantime, can anyone tell me how to specify a controller per emulator? I used the Wireless Gamepad F Connect Utility in my windows machine to do initial config between the gamepad and the receiver. Can you help me? I’m posting this here mainly because I had a tough time finding any good documentation on this process, and it took me way longer than it should have to figure out this relatively simple configuration change.

Thank you very much! No worries; I added sensible controller-name-based detection that will only apply the PS3 mapping and Quit buttons if a PS3 or Sony controller is detected. I found jstest-gtk a nice utility when checking these things out, my experiences with Xbox compatible controllers is very good, but I’m looking for a more PSX style one myself.
Many other systems are available. I wonder if it would be ok to format sd card and install system from scratch?

I installed the “joystick” package with: Mame is working fine, but I configured it through internal menu by pressing TAB on attached kbd. Also – obligatory statement that downloading ROMs you don’t own the rights to is bad, mmkay? I am receiving a few weird error messages.
